The watch looks very elegant esp for a G Shock which are typically bulky digital and not what you d typically consider wearing for a formal affair This watch could easily pull it off Much nicer in the flesh then the photos show
You really need to download the manual in PDF format from Casio s site and browse through it when you first get this watch Configure your Home City and you can then sit back and watch as the hour and minute hands swirl around into their correct location as if by magic Within a day or so the watch should depending on your location sync to the nearest Atomic timekeeping plant and be set to the exact correct time
After that no need to worry about 30 day months leap years etc The GS 1300B will automatically change the date for you skipping to the 1st of the month at midnight of months with only 30 days accounting for daylight savings time you should NEVER need to worry about it displaying the correct date or day of the week
