Purchased this watch 4 months ago and it started losing about 10 minutes a day a couple of weeks ago I noticed that condensation would appear inside the watch when I was outside in the heat for a while and go away when I came into the air conditioning at home Since this item was purchased directly through Amazon I called for the warranty info and was told that any condensation in the watch was not covered by their warranty only the internal movement I read their warranty several times and there is no mention of condensation being excluded from warranty Now I am told that the movement isn t covered because it could have been damaged by condensation Tag will not warranty this watch because Amazon is not an authorized dealer Bottom line 653 00 repair by Tag on an 1100 watch that is only 4 months old

I have owned this watch for about a year now and it has become my everyday watch I have a Rolex GMT and a Tissot but I really love the Tag the best I loose about 1 min every 6 months I am very surprised to hear of some defects from other reviews Tag makes high quality watches Maybe there was an issue with the user Automatics sometimes need an aggressive shake back in forth Great watch Seems like a good price here on amazon I prefer buying from a local dealer but I paid about 400 more than this price listed here

What a great watch I half heartedly thought about buying a Fossil but thought better and decided to go with a stunning timepiece that will keep excellent time and last for years and hopefully generations To be honest the swiss timekeeping turns out to be secondary with the perfect time kept by cell phones computers and cable boxes though my aquaracer is always set within 5 seconds of atomic time I decided that men should only wear jewelry that is functional a nice watch cufflinks a tie clip So a great watch makes a great outfit It s almost funny how wrist watches replaced pocket watches and now cell phones really just a pocket watch are replacing wrist watches not for me every time I look at this watch I smile

Any downsides not really it s taken some scratches on the clasp but none on the bracelet or the face It really needs to be worn every day if it s idle for 30 hrs it ll stop though it s cool to see it immediately start ticking again as soon as you pick it up Or you could get one of those automatic winders though I figure you should be wearing a watch this stunning instead of shelving it unless you re on that level where you have a rotating selection of rolexes and whatnot I think I m content with just this one It s gorgeous and the tag packaging is befitting of a watch this classy The local malls have this watch for the msrp Amazon put a great watch in my budget I haven t expected to need a Tag warranty and if I do well 800 goes a long way to that end Hope you make the right selection the black and the blue face aquaracers are also stunners I ve held both at the retailers

I just bought this watch at an authorized dealer with the discount and tax for 720 I didn t realize Amazon was selling it for 200 cheaper I received a two to three warranty from the authorized dealer and the original box My first TAG was the Aquaracer and I still use it with my suits I wanted this great looking watch for my casual days and the watch is sharp This will probably be my last watch until I need to replace either one in the next 10 to 15 years This is a great watch for the price

I bought this tent a few years ago and have nothing but kind things to say about it

1 It s sorta light Considering its size it s sorta light probably around 7 pounds when you include the footprint not included Considering how voluminous this thing is I really don t mind the extra ounces

2 It s freakin huge Seriously this thing is the airplane hanger of small tents The way the poles pull this thing apart there is just tons of headroom in this then Maybe it s a character defect of mine but I get a little uneasy being in confined areas like when you re trying to get a pair of pants on in a tent and you re banging your head against a wall/ceiling I ve never had a problem like that in this tent Seriously it s gigantic I ll bet if you took a ratio of square footage to cubic footage this one would win by a mile

3 It s mostly screen No more riding out humid still nights With all around screen whatever little wind is around will pass through your tent My last tent had a clever wind flow system so that you had to position the tent just right with respect to the wind to catch any breeze Never again

4 It s easy to use It s a snap to put up and the rain fly is very easy to deal with The doors are very intuitive and easy to get in and out of It s really a no brainer The only challenge is reading the directions the first few times to figure out when where and how the poles go in After that it s smooth sailing

5 It s lasting quite well I ve had this for three years now and we camp regularly in it even in the snow So far no stitches have popped all the zippers are cherry and as far as I can tell there isn t even any abrasion on it My guess is that the rain fly has faded a bit but I would have to compare it to a fresh one Other than that I m quite surprised at how well this is holding up

This is a really great tent My only complaint is that the vestibules really cannot hold that much stuff When this is billed as a three person tent I d say there is no theoretical way to fit three campers and all of their stuff into this tent For the two of us however this tent is just perfect

As a very keen shooter with a number of top quality scoped rifles I was in need of a good spotting scope After finding a brochure of the Alpen optics products I found that they were much better priced in the USA than here in Australia After looking around I found what I wanted on the Amazon site and purchased the Kit 20 60 x 80 a shame that Amazon does not ship to places outside the States so I had to ask a friend in California to forward the item to Australia Upon arriving the scope was actually better than I thought it would be however the stand in the kit was broken and not of a good quality I wonder why this seems to be the case with other brands too why do producers not increase the price somewhat and add a good quality tripod Luckily a good friend has all the tools to fix it and the combo works a treat Easy to use very clear optics and so it seems overall a very good scope It stood outside in the rain while observing birds and did not miss a beat Excellent VFM value for money I should recommend this item and brand to friends albeit with the note not to bother with the tripod kit but to purchase a good one in a camera store

Solid construction Image is bright and resolution excellent at 20mm to roughly 40mm falls off from that point on but is still decent at 60mm Eye relief is good but I wish the rotating eye cups had detents that would hold them in place at various extensions I m used to ring type focusing mechanisms such as those on DSLR camera lenses so it took me a while to get used to using the Alpen s focusing knob It isn t as fast as a focusing ring but once I got accustomed to it I found focusing to be easy and precise Plus unlike a ring focusing mechanism it is easy to use with a soft support such as a bean bag This is a big scope so you really need something solid on which to mount it The table top tripod that comes with the scope is usable in circumstances where you have a reasonably flat surface on which to place it but if you re in the field you ll probably need a full size tripod I haven t tried it on a monopod One nice feature is the rotating tripod ring which allows you to rotate the body of the scope without changing the aiming point Obviously top end scopes from Swarovski and Leica will outperform this scope particularly at the far end of the zoom range But then those scopes cost on the order of 7 8 times as much This may be the best scope at its price point and other reviewers have noted that it outperforms some big name scopes that cost 2 3 times as much

This watch is very verstile will help you look the part when you need to without being over the top as to distract Very surprised with how comfortable this watch is It is heavy but I don t feel it on my wrist as much as I do my other watches

I ve never been particularly bothered about watches they seemed to me to be either too sporty or too formal I think I wanted to know the time but I never put any energy or money into picking a watch That was until I discovered the black dial/ss bracelet dive watch along with the automatic movements and I started to think I might spend some money on a watch The first attempt at a purchase did not go well I was fooled by Invicta s shameless marketing policy of claiming that their watches are very heavily reduced a policy Amazon went along with I got their 9937 dive watch and then found out about the way the company worked their television sales their endless catalogue of tasteless watches I sold that watch got myself a Seiko Black Monster for a song what a fabulously funky thing it is and started to research the more traditional black dial dive watch category with care It had to be an automatic and it had to be simple just three hands no sub dials or GMT functions etc etc and I didn t want to get a watch like the Invicta the appeal of which depended on how well it could pass as something else I wanted something which was technically good AND which looked the way I wanted it to look I was very tempted by the Debaufre/Steinhart offering but it was just too close to the Invicta like the Invictat it is a relatively cheap Rolex Submariner copy or homage though doubtless better quality The Marcello C Nettuno 3 very nearly convinced me too that really is an excellent watch but new they cost nearly 900 which for a relatively unknown German made Rolex homage however good was too much money Then I discovered this TAG Heuer Autoracer WAB2010 and whilst it was more expensive than I was happy with it was the ONLY watch I could find that fitted the bill Being a TAG and diverging significantly from the Submariner mold it doesn t quite count as a Submariner copy but unlike the newest Aquaracer 500m offering it stays close enough to it to keep the simple look I like It is nicely finished almost all the steel is brushed not polished and that keeps it casual and not too bright and blingy It is the perfect size for my average 7 wrist 40mm watches are just too small 43mm and above are too big Finally because it has recently been discontinued it is heavily reduced the original price would have been impossible for me There really isn t another watch out there that I could find which was technically well enough made and which looked simple and direct even if the Omegas were affordable they re too flashy and complicated and the bracelet is too blingy Now if you look at the watch forums many watch enthusiasts dismiss TAG because of their advertising policies lots of expensive celebrities to pay but if you want a really well made swiss mechanical dive watch which is not all bells and whistles and which is slightly more casual than dressy then you don t have a lot of choices This watch is beautifully finished and wonderfully well designed and incredibly comfortable my long search for a good swiss automatic in the mainstream of the diver tradition is over and I have the right watch
Additional Note Amazon s customer service is really fantastic It was incrediby easy to get to talk to a real person they knew who I was and what I had ordered from them and they responded very reasonably indeed to my requests This is a great company I m sure their two year grey market guarantee is at least as good as the manufacturer s Superb retail experience

To give you a background I m an action shooter who uses my Rock River AR 15 Entry Tactical for practical rifle shooting competitions at my local club That being said my goal with my AR is to continually hit inside the primary scoring circle which is about an 8 diameter circle at center mass on a man sized target I don t get a micrometer out to measure group size My main goal is fast target acquisition and reliable performance

I purchased the EOTech 5 17 A65 for my rifle and I couldn t be happier The performance thus far has been amazing After bore sighting and dialing in the optic at 50 yards I ve been able to compete and improve my scores over my previous optic To get an idea of what this optic looks like imagine that there is a hologram floating about 25 yards down range with a red circle and a dot in the center No matter where your eyes are at where the red dot is where the bullet is going to travel

This is a durable unit That s obvious from the moment you open up the injection molded case the optic arrives in There is a piece of steel that is U shaped that surrounds the glass of the optic This guard is missing on some of the Bushnell varieties of the Holographic Weapon Sight

I don t intend to try to break the glass but its pretty evident that this guard is going to protect the unit from some pretty serious bangs against hard objects and from internet videos you can still see the red dot even if the glass is shattered

I ll update this review later into the next competition season but for now I don t see any reason to not give this product 5 stars Some may prefer the AimPoint optics or ACOG and I respect that But that doesn t mean that they are not all 5 star optics

The Eotech 517 is virtually identical to their earlier 512 with the same battery specs excellent circle dot reticle and 10 waterproof rating However it differs in a couple of important ways
1 The control buttons are on the side instead of the rear This is great for those who wish to use a magnifier or need to mount the optic as close to a rear sight as possible the rear control buttons on the 512 for example make this impossible While it s fairly easy to determine which button you re pressing from feel alone they re spaced closer together than on the 512 which makes turning the optic off done by pressing both buttons simultaneously a little more difficult but to me this is a very minor point
2 Perhaps most importantly the 517 has a stronger better designed mounting crossbolt which avoids some of the problems experienced with the earlier design Perceived field of view through the optic is great and the circle dot reticle fast to pick up especially when shooting from unconventional positions where head alignment isn t precise
3 The 517 incorporates a new style mount that s raised by 7mm The result is that instead of getting an absolute cowitness when using iron sights you now have a 1/3 cowitness which I prefer and the front is raised slightly to allow a more forward mounting of the optic over handguards if desired I gave the 517 5 stars for its improvements over the earlier Eotech 512

I happened to be in a city with a Tissot service center found out watch is made by Swatch They told me that water got inside and that it would need both a movement and crystal replacement at a cost of 350 I thought the watch was waterproof to 100ft so I had swum and taken showers with it They said it was only water resistant to 100ft Apparently this means that you might be able to wash your hands with it on I might note that this is not pointed out in any of the literature you get with the watch

So if you can afford a new watch every couple of years and don t mind taking the watch off when you get near water this watch is for you Otherwise look for either watches marked water resistant to 300ft 100 metres or waterproof

Story of three Polars
This is my third Polar The first one I had was a s510 It was great until it lost two buttons somehow during the swim portion of a triathlon No idea how that happened but the end result was that salt water got into the unit and ruined it

I replaced the s510 with an s725x special edition the one with the chrome finish Loved it too until it started to flake out It wouldn t let me update the user settings and no longer shows the date I decided to make that my permanent bike computer and took the opportunity to upgrade to the RS800cx

I love the RS800cx s contoured sleek design Much better than its predecessors big chunky and buly block style Again I love Polar devices when they work I love uploading my data to the training software via the infrared sensor I like visually tracking my zones HR altitude pace etc I also liked seeing my routes on Google Earth very cool However after 3 months I noted significant condensation under the lens That was followed by the battery going dead It s under warranty so I sent it in After 3 weeks it came back with no water and a fresh battery No more than two weeks later two buttons fell off I sent it back waited for another 3 weeks and am using it again However this time the main button doesn t like to work This was evident immediately upon getting back from Polar and before I started using it again It s usable but more frequently than not I have to press the red button enter or start several times to get it to work I m anxious about sending it back yet again because I don t want to spend the money on shipping for the 3rd time and I m worried about what will fall off or not work when it returns from the factory

I should note that I m not rough with these devices I swim bike run and lift I don t wrestle work construction or do anything that would cause unusual wear and tear on the product

A friend of mine bought the Garmin Forerunner 305 this past summer for his Ironman training He loves it and has had no issues with it One of the cool things about the Garmin is that you can detach it from the wristband and attach it to your bike mount in a quick release fashion and vice versa The other cool thing is that it s currently 167 99 on Amazon vs the RS800cx which is currently 469 90 If I m reading it all correctly that s equally equipped with GPS HR software and online mapping If I wasn t already invested in the Polar with the GPS I d switch to the Garmin The biggest drawback that I can see with the Garmin is that it s big and chunky Not something I d wear to work like I can with my Polar

Purchased this new and it functioned well for about 60 days Used the PPT software as well as the Weblink Watch stopped transfering data on a Friday the following day it stopped communicating with the heart sensor I took it to the jeweler to have the battery replaced and they were unable to open the watch Polar told me to send it back so I did 3 weeks later the watch was returned supposedly repaired under warranty and STILL HAS THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM No fix no communication with either the sensor or the computer Make sure you read the Polar forums before buying ANY Polar product

I also have had three other Polar products For people who are considering one of their 200 units I would recommend they make the jump up to this one It really is great having your speed cadence heart rate altitude pace and average stride graphed at 1 second intervals The speed/pace etc comes if you have the s3 foot pod which I also recommend You ll also want the associated GPS pod as well

The one complaint that I have relates to the heart rate strap Some polar products that I have used in the past have their sensors and transmitters as a single unit One product had a button strap that would click into the transmitter These worked fine The s3 W I N D transmitter however has a button on transmitter that attaches to the strap while its attached to you This design allows that strap to stay affixed to you while the transmitter is removed

The comment below didn t happen I still rubberband the sensor but it didn t come off that day

Unfortunately on a recent run the transmitter popped off without me knowing it After I pay the 65 for a new unit I will fix this problem by attaching the unit with a rubber band This problem should not dissuade you from buying the unit but you should use the rubberband trick

I have owned my Aquaracer for about 8 months now and it has proven to be very accurate and reliable Several reviewers on different sites have complained about the alarm feature and at first it confused me too After CAREFULLY reading the manual I realized that it is normal for the alarm hands to rotate when pulling out the stem to set the time on the watch This is part of the alarm synchronization procedure After setting the time the alarm needs to be synchronized to the time set This is done while the watch is still in time set mode with the crown pulled all the way out Then just hold the alarm button in till the alarm hands show exactly the same time as the watch hands When the crown is pushed back in the alarm hands return to their previously set position and are synchronized Once this is done the alarm is accurate to the second I have never before seen an analog watch with an alarm that sounded on the second

I am quite impressed with the quality of this watch The crown and stem screw in nicely and the sapphire crystal is still without the slightest scratch The one way rotating bezel has 120 clicks for a complete rotation and requires enough effort to turn that it has never moved unintentionally The luminous coating on the hands and face markings are very bright and keep usable brightness all night This is always my watch of choice now when I expect to be out at night The date display is well done and quite readable at the unique six o clock position While the bracelet uses pressed in pins for adjustment rather than threaded screws the pins press into small bushings that work quite well and the bracelet feels well made I also like the fact that Tag Heuer did not try to copy the Rolex Submariner or Omega Seamaster as so many other makers have but created their own style with the Aquaracer line And finally I like the size I know that huge watches are quite in style these days but my wrists are a bit small and at 38 4 mm the case is a very nice size that looks and feels good to wear

The watch was packaged in a box that was too big for it and there was minimal protection in the package at all When I picked up the box the watch was in it appeared the watch was just rolling around in it Not knowing that this was the Tag Heuer box until I opened it I am highly disappointed in the way that this was packaged and I might seek a refund if after examination of the watch that I find it to be a refurbished item I state this due to the Tag Heuer box being scuffed and the watch itself being mishandled in packaging Amazon had better wake up when it comes to quality control

Update I tested the watch and it is defective While trying to adjust the time on the watch the alarm dial started to spin erratically and than it stopped on 2 29 and then started again to spin erratically and than stopped at 8 30 and didn t spin again Take note I was just trying to adjust the time dials When I went to adjust the alarm it worked okay but it has it s own control and it should not have been spinning when I was adjusting the time dials I followed the instructions in the manual to the letter it is quality control with the company that Amazon contracts with

From the second that I unscrewed the crown this watch features a crown that screws in for water tightness it felt flimsy and poorly secured Plus pulling the crown out to the 2 position started the alarm function to go off on its own as mentioned above

Furthermore Amazon will not replace this product The best they will do is a refund which takes 7 14 days from the time they receive the returned product And they require you to go to the post office and mail it via insured USPS mail instead of having UPS the delivery company pick it up

Amazon s price is great as is TAG s reputation but this situation has left a bad taste in my mouth with regard to both companies The watch is going back Also as a warning the site on which you register your watch has Tag Heuer misspelled they have it spelled as Tag Hauer Tells you what type of service you will get from them Probably outsourced to India who outsources to China

Although there have been some reviews complaining about the item I did not find any of the problems mentioned I will go over a few thing in order to help future buyers as there is some inaccurate information in some reviews

First the manual does contain instructions in English it can be found on any page marked with a GB Great Britain at the top It is true that there is no written paragraph next to the assembling pictures but they are very easy to follow The only issue you might come across is the way you install the rowing hands My suggestion is to place them onto the locking arms without actually installing them you will quickly realize if you have them backwards the piston has to compress when you pull rather than extend

Second the adjustments on the pistons are not off as some people have mentioned There is a patent number stamped onto them with a triangle background The tip of the triangle will point toward the number you select and this way the resistance is equivalent Where some folks went wrong is simply looking at the piston from the top By doing so they see different numbers on each of the two units and this completely throws them off Just look on the side where the patent triangle is located and match the numbers you will feel the same resistance throughout

Lastly this item is NOT a regular rower this type of rowing is called SCULLING If you want some excellent advice on sculling technique body position arm and leg extension wrist position and proper catch/pull/release you need to take a few minutes and go to click on how to scull and read the instruction by following along with the pictures After about 5 minutes of slowly going through the movement sequence I began to feel the fluidity of the motion and the rower reacted to it accordingly

I am extremely satisfied with the product the design is very ergonomic and sturdy at the same time It weighs less than one of my kettle bells which makes it pretty easy to move around I believe the nicest thing about this rower is its versatility You can choose not to use your legs and only work out your upper body Moreover you can use alternate pulling and shift the resistance around when you don t feel like doing the same thing all the time

I hope this information helps shed some light on previously mentioned problems Have a great workout

I am 63 years old and last year I was tapped on my shoulder and reminded I was mortal I decided to start taking care of myself When I was younger I worked out with weights but gave that up and gave them away many years ago I recently purchased some dumbells and did the normal exercises but it became boring I knew what ever I did I would have to do for the rest of my life I started looking at rowing machines I have learned that you generally get what you pay for I did not want to get one where mechanical problems got in the way of exercise Looked at the lower cost machines I can be cheap then looked a the Concept 2 I probably would have gotten the Concept 2 except for the length I settled for the Kettler

True to the other reviews the Kettler arrived in 5 days and was missing parts in my case the footrests Kettler USA without any questions sent them with 3 day shipping It does take 1 1/2 hours to put together mainly by following pictures it is not rocket science The piston adjustment numbers are alittle off that is not a problem you adjust them so they are equal The computer is in German that is not a problem unless you believe the world should be in English and you can not remember what 5 digital readouts mean There are only two things I do not like about the Kettler 1 It assumes you know how to use the rowing machine it comes with no instructions on rowing form this is solved by going on the internet and watching some videos on YouTube second the ear pulse heart monitor with its wire drives me craze I purchased a Omron HR 100c heart rate monitor from Amazon for about 35 it comes with a handle bar mount that works great If you are my age I suggest you use a heart rate monitor it will keep you from over doing it on the machine You do not want people to say he died while rowing in his backyard

What I like about the Kettler 1 it is a solid machine and probably will not wear out so I will not get a chance buy a Concept 2 2 its fluid rowing motion is low impact on joints something we old folks need 3 it is relaxing and fun way to excerise 3 my blood pressure is dropping as is my glucose level and I feel better I am happy I made the investment

One last note that maybe helpful to those that have footrest/tiedown problems I strapped a pair of loose fitting Crocs permanently on foot rests so I would not have to deal with the velcro straps every time I get on the machine All I need to do now is slip my feet into the Crocs and off I go

August 11 Had a part that failed that can only be blamed on poor quality controls at Kettler If it was not for the superior customer service in thier parts department this product would loose some shine The parts department again without question shipped me a replacement part which I received within 7 days I still consider it a good investment

I am very glad I bought this watch I hesitated because of the numerous complains about the touch 1st generations problems on the internet but this watch is the 4th generation I guess and from what I read all those problems are now solved
Besides I have a coworker who has had the touch for 7 years now and he gave me the last reason just to buy this wonderful watch the watch is awesome it has so many features and it is so cool that many people is just playing and giving the watch numerous inputs so the watch goes nuts
I received the watch in a gorgeous box with numerous accessories like a nice soft bag to keep the watch in your desk while I work in the back yard a book with the history of TISSOT user s manual catalogue warranty etc etc it came nicely packed with airbags inside and double box from AMAZON
The watch is smaller than the CASIO protrek 80T it has basically the same functions but it has some I like better for a PILOT like me
1 first I have to wake up really early in the mornings so with the Casio I had to turn on the backlight with my tissot has fluorescent minute and hour hands and markings
2 I can have the local time with hands and the ZULU or GMT on the LCD display A must HAVE for pilots
3the temperature setting is very interesting while with the Casio I had to adjust my body temperature to the watch he just calculated temperature differences from the pre set temperature with my tissot there is no adjustments to make and it also shows the temperature plus my body temperature increment but once I remove my TISSOT for about 15 to 20 minutes while I shave or bath it shows me the real temperature like a mercury thermometer
3 the red back light is gorgeous
4 azimuth and compass with the possibility to adjust the magnetic declination NICE
5 a precise altimeter
6 I checked numerous times the progress of my watch compared with a GPS and online US official time and it keeps steady while CASIO misses the official time for about 2 seconds every 3 days

not a pressure reading in HG inches of mercury as in US and Latin America many countries still use HG for aviation

The Body Solid GCEC340 machine is sturdy and it feels sturdy when using it I had to phone a Body Solid sales representative in order to find out what the weight capacity is for it He told me that it can hold 400 lb of weight plates plus 200 lb of the user s body weight for a total of 600 lb Why in the world is this information not included with the machine

Some of the assembly was difficult Before explaining I should note that the Body Solid web site contains a PDF file of the owner s manual although it is missing the assembly diagram But it does show the hardware and parts illustration sheets which you might find helpful in understanding my explanation of the difficulty Part G contains a piece of metal let s call it a dowel for lack of a better word The dimensions of the dowel are 3/16 x 1/4 x 2 I had to pry the dowel out of part G in order to be able to insert part G into parts D9 D B and F Prying it out was difficult and it took me some time to figure out how to do it It also took time to figure out that prying it out was necessary or even possible

Here s what contributed to the difficulty The assembly diagram shows the dowel already separated from G and the dowel is represented by a line only 3/16 long by 1/16 wide barely larger than the dashes that link each part in the diagram And the dowel is not labeled in the diagram nor is it shown in the hardware and parts illustration sheets It should have been labeled as a separate part or piece of hardware and it should not have been inserted into G at the factory in my opinion

After inserting part G into parts D9 D B and F I had to hammer the dowel back into part G with the assistance of a nail set in order to get the dowel all the way into the slot Nowhere in the instructions was this procedure explained

Regarding usage In order to get one s left leg under the corresponding upper leg pad the upper leg pads as a single unit need to be removed After sitting down then the upper leg pads can be inserted back into the machine This is an inconvenience because it slows down a workout when doing leg curls assuming you wish to stand up between sets to stretch and/or to alter the number of weight plates on the machine The upper leg pads are not needed for leg extensions and can be removed for this exercise

The pop pin plunger for the upper leg pads needs to be unscrewed by about one and one half turns in order to raise lower or remove the upper leg pads I d much prefer it if the pin could be fully pulled out and reinserted while the pop pin plunger is fully screwed in

For leg curls it is necessary for me to remove or nearly remove the upper leg pads so that I can get my legs onto and off of the lower leg pad I like the thickness and firmness of the lower leg pad most likely it won t ever hurt my shins when doing leg extensions Also the handle bars are well positioned for me I am 5 10 tall

Like most everything else from bodysolid this is a good solid piece of equipment ive had mine about six mo s love it use it every wk its smooth and very stable i like the seated leg curl better than lieing down too nearly as good as the 1500 commercal one at the gym highly recommend

Both foot straps ridiculously inferior quality broke immediately The electronic timer has not worked sometimes it s on sometimes it s off The bottom of the heel holder on the foot rests is too shallow my feet keep slipping out With my new straps bought at Dick s I cinch my feet very tightly into the foot rests and they do not slip out I use the rower for 25 minutes each morning Fundamentally the rower works very smoothly and gives a decent low grade workout I hope that the mechanics of the rower work better and last longer than the three largely ancillary parts that I identified above

I loved this rower at first although if you have small feet it s difficult to keep them from pulling out of the pedals while rowing 6 broken straps several emails to Lifespan they did replace them for me a change to a different type of shoe and that problem was finally fixed Then the pulleys started to break Ordered a new set and replaced those those I had to buy Now the flywheel will not recoil Took it apart I would have to replace the magnetic wheel assembly It s time to give up it just wasn t made to be used I used this rower for 2 1/2 years My last rower was a cheap old piston type it lasted 12 years I finally broke the frame I used the rower 4 times a week this one just couldn t hold up And no I m not some 350 pound body builder I barely make it over 5 feet and am under 135 pounds I don t think I should be killing rowing machines

I watched a few how to row properly videos online and that made a difference The machine folds up nicely and I can easily wheel it to the corner of the room It makes little contact with the floor so I don t feel that a mat is necessary This is my first rower and it s amazing how much I sweat during a 30 minute workout about 600 strokes I m losing weight like a bastard
