I was very happy until the battery died I sent it to a Tissot Center for a battery change that is because it cannot be changed elsewhere and there they found that the machine was also damage just because the battery was dead for 35 days they were in holidays and they took 30 days just to take a look of my watch

I bought this watch 2 5 years ago on Amazon for around 500 Watch looks great and worked very well for the first 2 5 years Died last month Took it in for a battery change First surprise not a simple 10 20 job Estimates to change battery ranged from 40 150 Some watch places refused to do it Luckily I took it to a reputable place who refused to charge me anything when they discovered that the watch would not run on a new battery
I happened to be in a city with a Tissot service center found out watch is made by Swatch They told me that water got inside and that it would need both a movement and crystal replacement at a cost of 350 I thought the watch was waterproof to 100ft so I had swum and taken showers with it They said it was only water resistant to 100ft Apparently this means that you might be able to wash your hands with it on I might note that this is not pointed out in any of the literature you get with the watch
So if you can afford a new watch every couple of years and don t mind taking the watch off when you get near water this watch is for you Otherwise look for either watches marked water resistant to 300ft 100 metres or waterproof

I had been longing to buy this watch for a long time because of its T Touch features but was not convinced with the earlier Titanium bracelet models I saw this polished Titanium and liked it instantly and my wife liked it too and we just ordered it When it arrived it arrived in a nice Tissot case with all literature except for the manufacturer warranty card Amazon provides a 2 year warranty on this and they assured this is a Genuine Tissot
The features are amazing Looks real good on my wrist and did not even need the size of the Bracelet adjusted
The only thing which I did not realize was that though this a Quartz it runs a battery I was under the impression that this needed no battery My bad for not checking Never the less this is one great time piece and I love it
